Hey guys my name is Caleb Lindsey. I’m 21 years old and I live in a tiny little town in south central KY.  I’ve been making music since I was six years old and today I practically live out of my little home studio!

I had an experience with a soundtrack album that changed my life. It was the first one that I ever listened to called “Apollo 11” by Adam Young. What inspired me about it was how the music made my imagination come alive. Now, don’t get me wrong, ever since I was very young I’ve had a very active imagination! So, to envision the story of Apollo 11 was not very hard for me, but what was different about this imagination was that the music awoke the emotions of the event inside of me that gave me a whole new perspective on the story. It was like the difference between watching a movie in 4K as opposed to 720p. There’s a BIG difference! So for the first time in my life I was able to envision a story of Apollo 11 “in 4K” and it was surreal! I thought, “how cool is that! To be able to recreate emotions that the people who actually lived the event felt and make a story come alive like it never has before.” That was when I had an idea that would take up about eight months of my life and teach me a whole world of things about music and how it can be used.  The endeavor to do the same thing with the story of Jesus! That idea was called “The Gospel in Music.” It came from the desire to represent the gospel emotionally and not just intellectually in hopes that it would come alive in a way that it never has before; the same way that the story of Apollo 11 came to life through music and changed its meaning forever for me.
